How HBDS Works:
As convenient as disposables: simply change your baby, drop the cloth diaper in the
diaper pail, and go! No soaking, scrubbing, rinsing or laundering required!
1) Schedule your free diaper service consultation:
* Discuss how many diapers you will need, what accessories to order,
how the service will work, etc.
* Introduce the different diapers offered through our service:
Regular Prefold Diapers
Organic Prefold Diapers (click here for more info)
Contour Diapers (click here for more info)
* Demonstrate different diapering techniques to use on your baby.
* Answer any additional questions you may have.
2) Start your service:
* If your baby is here we will start your service immediately.
* If your baby is on it's way we will schedule your first delivery 2 weeks prior to your due
date. Once your baby arrives, have someone give us a call and we will place you on our
schedule for weekly delivery. If your baby comes early, just give us a call, we'll be happy to
make arrangements.
3) Diaper Rotation: (we will use 70 diapers/week for the example)
*If you start to notice that you continually have 15-25 diapers left over from the previous week, call us. We
will adjust your diapers accordingly ($0.50 price reduction for every 5 diapers removed from your rotation).
4) Pick-Up & Delivery: We will deliver your diapers on the same day, around the same time
each week. Use the bag we deliver the diapers in to line your diaper pail. On delivery day,
simply place your soiled diapers outside your door. We will pick up the dirty diapers and
replace them with soft, clean diapers for the coming week.
5) Pricing: At HBDS, we do not believe in cutting corners and risking the integrity of our
product just to save a dime. Below you will find the pricing structure for our regular diaper
service. You can find a price comparison chart between disposable diapers and HBDS in our
"Why Cloth" page. Please note that because children are able to feel wetness in cloth diapers,
they become more aware and are able to potty train faster. Some studies show that children
who use cloth diapers train up to 1 years earlier than children who use disposables. Visit our

6) Diaper Use: The diapers we provide are for your baby's bottom ONLY. Please do not use
them as burp cloths, dust rags, sponges, to clean your car, etc. as they will damage the diapers
and render them useless.
7) Delivery Area: We deliver to the following zip codes in Charlotte: 28202, 28203, 28204,
28205, 28206, 28207, 28208, 28209, 28210, 28211, 28212, 28226, 28273. If you border
one of these zip codes, give us a call or send us an email and we'll see what we can do. Click
here for a zip code map of Charlotte. We may deliver to other areas for a small fuel surcharge.
8) Vacations: Please call us 1 - 2 weeks before you go on vacation. If you are not using cloth
diapers while you're away, we will place your service on hold. You will not be charged for the
time you are on vacation. If you would like to continue using cloth while on vacation, we can
work with you to make sure you have enough diapers while you are away.
9) Discontinuing Service: We hope that you will be with us until you baby is potty trained. If
you are discontinuing service for any other reason, please let us know. We want to make sure
all of our moms and dads and babies are happy with our service, and if there is anything that
you don't like, we want to fix it! If you are discontinuing service, for any reason, please call us 5
days prior to your last delivery. All clean and dirty diapers must be returned on your last day of
service. We will do a final count on all returned diapers to determine if any are missing or
damaged. A $1.50 fee per diaper will be assessed for any diaper that is not returned or is
destroyed (by wax, shoe polish, grease, etc).
10) Referral Program: Love our service? Help us spread the word! For every person you
refer to us that signs up for and completes a minimum 14-week service, you will receive 1
FREE WEEK of our fabulous cloth diaper delivery service! It is our special way of saying
"thank you" from the Bottom of our hearts!
